Maddy Knott - Instructor & Staff

Maddy Knott is a sculptor based on Vancouver Island who holds a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Victoria and a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a jewelry design minor from Nova Scotia College of Art and Design.

Her work elegantly merges object and body, exploring themes of patterning and the otherworldly. Knott is an active silversmith with a keen interest in structures, evident in her intricate pieces that blur the lines between jewelry and sculpture. Drawing serves as the backbone of her artistic expression, reflecting her fascination with patterning and mark-making.
