Join visiting instructor Melody Armstrong in this one time three-day workshop where you'll learn to make unique metal beads to turn into pendants, earrings or a bracelet!
In this course you will learn from an experienced silversmith and instructor to learn valuable and distinctive skills such as hollow forms, different soldering techniques, roller printing, clasp and ear wire construction, texturing and notching; all of which can be transferable to many different styles. You will make samples of all the different bead shapes.
Each student will create several one-of-a-kind pieces of jewellery of your own design to take home. Come practice your silversmithing skills and enjoy a creative weekend making metal beads, hollow forms, clasps and findings, and learning roller printing, more soldering, dapping and forming, texturing, notching, patinas and finishing.
